– Installation of a specific 2-wire phase dimmer from SAL
The off-peak hot water tone flickering stops when these two components are installed together.
Installed separately, these components will not operate as expected. This is a system and BOTH items must be installed together on the offending lighting circuit.
New Dimmer: First, replace the existing dimmer with the SDD400SFI dimmer from SAL
New Downlights: ECOGEM 10W – S9041TC/WH/SFI
The SDD400SFI dimmer and S9041TC/WH/SFI Downlight must be installed together.
All lights on that controlled circuit must be replaced, not just where flickering is visible.
Installing just one – either the dimmer or the downlights – will not produce the desired result.
The SDD400SFI dimmer will NOT operate as a dimmer UNLESS it controls one of these two nominated light types.
