        The EVlink Universal Peak Controller is an advanced accessory to complement the EVlink charging stations, designed to manage and optimize the power allocated to electric vehicle (EV) charging. It acts as a load-shedder, offering an anti-tripping system to ensure efficient and uninterrupted charging.

        The Peak Controller is designed for use in a single-phase network and operates at a voltage supply of 220VAC to 230VAC, with a tolerance of +/- 10%. It functions under a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz, making it versatile for different power supply scenarios.

        One of the key features of the Universal Peak Controller is its ability to adjust in real-time the maximum power allocated to the charging EV, taking into account the consumption of other loads within the house. This adaptive feature allows it to respond to different power needs effectively, avoiding potential overloads or disruptions.

        The user can manually set up this adjustment, choosing from 6 maximum allowed currents ranging from 16A to 50A. This further controls the charging process, allowing users to tailor the system to their specific requirements and power capacity.

        The device is designed for indoor installation on a 35mm DIN rail. It communicates with the charging station using Power Line Communication (PLC) system, which carries data on the same conductor as the AC electric power. This efficient method of communication ensures smooth coordination between the controller and the charging station.

        The Peak Controller features local signalling using LED lights. A red LED indicates any potential defaults, while a green LED signals the control process. Another green LED indicates when the device communicates with the EV charging station, providing clear and intuitive feedback for the user.

        The compact design of the device measures (W) 93mm x (H) 70mm x (D) 69mm and weighs 196g. Its white plastic construction offers durability while maintaining a sleek appearance. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C and can be stored in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C.

        Compliance with EN 61010-1 (2010 release) and EN61326-1 (2013 release) standards ensure the EVlink Universal Peak Controller meets the necessary safety and performance requirements.
